Ministry of Dance prides itself on its professional ability to teach a range of dance styles to a variety of ages and levels. From kids dance lessons, dance classes for toddlers and babies through to dance lessons for adults we cater to everyone's dance style and needs. Jaclyn Douglas


Jaclyn is the Owner and Director of Ministry of Dance and has been since its inception in 2006. She has danced for 20 years and in 2001 was invited to Callback at the Opera House following an outstanding performance in her HSC. In 2002, Jaclyn completed a full time Performing Arts course, furthering her knowledge of elite dance skills. Jaclyn continually updates her knowledge, training in Los Angeles every year in order to maintain cutting edge dances for her students.

Under her tutelage, four students from Ministry of Dance have been selected to be members of Lil’ Justice Crew. In 2011, Ministry Cr3w finished 2nd in the Battle of the Stars at the National Championships on the Gold Coast performing dances choreographed by Jaclyn, whilst in 2009, Ministry of Dance were National Champions at the same competition.

In 2008, Jaclyn travelled to Seattle to complete a course and from there has developed her own unique programs. Jaclyn is the creator of the Crazy Crawlers, Baby Boppers and Baby Breaker programs used at the studio and has a passion for the development of movement in young children. From a young age, Jaclyn implements play programs to develop gross and fine motor skills. Promoting fundamental skills in an enjoyable environment helps young children today to be the outstanding dancers of tomorrow.

Jaclyn lives by the motto “No excuses, only decisions”. She looks forward to meeting you at Ministry of Dance soon.



Karlie Portrait

Karlie has been dancing since she was 4 years old, she has been teaching dance for 7 years now and hasn't looked back.


Karlie's credits include: dancing in Gina Jeffreys film clips, performed at the 2000 Sydney Olympic Games, performed in hit children's live stage shows including "Fred" from The Flinstones, Rags the Dog, "Max" from Max and Millie, Looney Tunes and many more, regularly performs across Australia and New Zealand and continues to travel to NZ for classes.


Karlie has had a great kick start to this year dancing for a well known Bollywood star "Atif Aslam". Karlie continues to enjoy what she does and there will be plenty more to come.
