CHILDREN'S DANCE CLASSES

 

From Wobbly Waddlers, baby boppers and tiny tots through to princesses @ play, ballet and mini hip hop, our dance lessons for kids will ensure your child will learn to feel the rhythm as they express themselves through movement and dance.

 

Offering a large range of dance styles and dance lessons, our childrens dance school caters for all children aged 6 months to 6 years, each dance class caters for specific age groups to ensure your child's level and experience is met. Dance for kids has never been more fun at Ministry of Dance.

Pre primary (Mini Movers) 5-6yrs

Mini Movers is designed to further develop their skills and co-ordination in basic ballet, jazz, acrobatics, and also the introduction to hip hop! These classes build confidence and concentration as we begin to link steps and actions to form short combinations and improve movement, rhythm and dance skills. (1.5hrs)

Tiny Tots 3-4years (1hr) Jazz, Tap, Ballet, Acrobatics

This is the perfect introduction to the world of dance and movement through music. Combining imagination, creativity and the introduction to basic dance steps this class is focused on developing their minds and bodies through musicality and coordination. Fairies and princesses fly, twirl, leap and bound in a fun and magical environment!

Tiny Hip hop and Break dance (30mins) 2 1/2-4yrs

This structured class encouraged self expression through balance, co ordination and improvisation, as we spin on the ground, fly like aero planes and try our break dance freezes! If your child loves rolling, spinning, jumping and making up their own break dancing moves, then they are sure to love this class! (1/2hr)

Baby Boppers - 13months to 2 1/2years

Our beautiful dance-play classes welcome babies and their cares into the wonderful world of music and movement! These classes are designed to encourage your child's natural development through music, dance and play. Repetition is the key with these little ones, as children enhance their confidence, co-ordination, rhythm, imagination and more with music they enjoy like Hi 5 and The Wiggles!

With the use of musical instruments, coloured ribbons, hoola hoops and lots of other fun props, children quickly discover how clever and special they are, increasing self esteem and confidence. Parents or guardians are welcomed into this class, and can participate or watch (depending on their child's needs) making it fun and enjoyable for all!

Princess @ Play (2hours) Jazz, Ballet, Hip Hop, Acrobatics

Building on the foundations of creativity and coordination, this class introduces stretching and strength into each aspect of dance. By challenging their bodies in new and creative ways, children discover how clever they are, by achieving new levels in movement and memory as they action steps together, through choreography and improvisation.

Mini Break dance & hip hop (45mins) 4-6 years

This class begins linking sequences of steps and movement, and incorporates muscle development through handstands, cartwheels and break dance freezes. Children learn fun choreography as well as discovering their own favorite steps through improvisation and musicality.
